Great for the beginner While I don't think I could accomplish even a third of these yet, they provide ideas and aspiration for the possibilities of where I can take my skills.. "Great techniques overview." according to Leslie J. Monarch. While it doesn't go into enough detail for actual projects I liked it especially for the chapter on mixed media which showed me ideas on mixing acrylic with mediums like oil pastels etc. Just be aware it is an overview not a how to book. As a book on all the possibilities for using acrylics this is great.. Interesting Reference for Acrylics! Basic projects and information. Will try them.Small in size which I appreciate if heading out to paint for a class, etc.
