And by hearing the finished example arrangement of the CD which comes with the book I'm q. "terrific !!!" according to Discoveror. ever heard extra things (to embellish) a tune and wondered how to go about adding them to the melody - to (easily) turn it into what you are hearing?Not only does this little book outline how to go about doing that (i.e. describes a layered, multi-step process for doing so), but it is mercifully SUCCINCT! I am loving it and, excitedly, anticipating implementing the process. It's co. B. White said Songs are dorky but a great book. Great book! Shows how to take a simple melody and turn it into a guitar arrangement. That's what I need to learn now. I thinks this book will do just fine.My complaint, but not enough to give a lesser star rating, is the songs are old and corny for my taste.
