No true instruction roma lightsey This book has a beautiful cover and that is about the extent of instruction included on calligraphy. You can download some more blank practice sheets from the website but they look just like the ones pictured. I was surprised that there were not even arrows indicating the direction of the strokes for each letter. I am going to keep the book and work through it anyway since I took calligraphy about 30 years ago. No information on selecting pens or paper. Look elsewhere if you need that informa. The book is filled with over 100 lined practice sheets in 3 styles. I've found it to be an invaluable tool in improving my lettering skills. I use it alongside my lettering instruction books.
