I wish someone had posted that all the women were being forced to have babies, and Kris was raped by a friend when she was heavily intoxicated. I was so angry as the author created excuses as to why it was ok that someone had sexed her up while she was incoherent. She got a baby out of it! Disgusting, absolutely disgusting.. Aggie Bearden said A new direction. While this is somewhat of a new direction for Anne McCaffrey (still find myself hoping for a dragon to fly out of a cave or one of those mysterious valleys), it is her typical entertaining and gripping plot full of well-developed, engaging characters! #LoveIt
