These are George G's own originally published piano variations on 18 of his original songs, that have gone in and out of print for decades. They are wonderful! These are NOT easy to play well; they are for an advanced-level pianist. They are Beautiful/Brilliant! There is an long interesting introduction written by George himself in the 1930's about the variations, and also a nice bio about him and his brother. There are some good recordings available by able pianists, one by George himself!, of thes. Five Stars Arrived in perfect condition. Amazon Customer said great arrangements by Gershwin. As advertised, great arrangements by Gershwin. Short and sweet selection great for pianist audition material and practice in the stride style!
