It works. Great book for tired parents. We tried it on my grandson and had success in one week. GrandmaBlondie My grandson was waking 6-10 times per night at seven months old. He could not go to sleep without being nursed and then putting him into bed woke him up for more crying. My daughter and her husband were completely stumped. While I was visiting I bought her this workbook as well as the book that goes with it. Together, in ONE WEEK, he was going down for 1-1/2 hour naps twice a day and going down for bed (from awake to asleep) in five minutes without being nursed, with just a little complaint (not hard crying) . Larabar said Gentle Method for 5 Month Old. Sleep saver! We started using a few tips from the book and decided to commit to the system and get the work book too (started with book on kindle). Having a paper copy with the important points highlighted helped us form a plan fast. It worked immediately- from the first night we learned our breastfed baby was only eating four times because we assumed that's what he wanted. We were able to comfort him with minimal fuss and go to one feeding a night. Also naps and putting him down in general takes anywhere fro. Want to sleep? Get this book! Jarred nicholas My 9 month old was waking up and crying for HOURS at a time. We were exhausted. We Followed the steps of this book and he was sleeping through the night in less then 2 weeks! As well as falling asleep without us rocking him at all! Just a quick snuggle and laying him down! He is almost two now and I can count on one hand the times he has not slept through the night after reading this book! He is even nap trained, that is more difficult but it is so worth it!We just sleep trained our second baby! Wow! So easy!
