"Slow and Derivative" according to An Amazon Customer. This is marketed as a combination of Harry Potter and Stephanie Plum. I can tell the author read both series, because she straight up "borrowed" elements from both. The one that bothered me the most was the grandmother, whose sassy attitude, colorful track suits, and blue hair were lifted straight from Stephanie Plum with no originalit. Pour me another one Miss LaManna! I downed this quirky fun story like a smooth cup of hot buttered rum! I could not put it down. I won't give away spoilers. I will say that Miss LaManna's ability to craft witty charming characters (whom I've already become attached to) is on par with crafting the perfect glass of vino. Her heroine, Lily Locke, is delightful, rich and c. fast read, funny story, however you will have to read all of this series to get the full story. The book itself is funny and lighthearted. The only issue I have with it is the story ends in the middle of the plot. I am guessing the story will pick up in the next book and you will have to read the entire series to get the full story. None of the questions were answered and mystery as to who did it was not solved in this book. I ha
