I've been learning the accordion for about 2 years now. I bought Songs of Mexico for some variety in my lessons. It's great. There are songs I know (Remember the Frito Bandito song? It's 'Ceilito Lindo') and (mostly) songs I don't know. If my teacher and I are stuck on just how the song should be played (peppy soulful etc.) I've always been able to find it online -- with the words translated, even!The book has been fun and challenging for me -- playing intermedia. years now.
