"Its a great idea, but much of the gray is way" according to Dr. Bryan Lamkin. I was excited to try this, hoping that grayscale would be more realistic looking. Its a great idea, but much of the gray is way too dark. The most obvious example are the sky pictures. Even with the palest blue, the skys all end up looking stormy because of how dark they are to start with. A lot of the tree pictures are so dark, no matter what green I used, I could hardly tell they were green. I definitely won't try another gray scale from this company.. Very nice , great designs My mom enjoyed this. While an artist who draws & paints these type of scenes, I thought a little book like this would be an easy way for her to get a quick coloring rendition in. Its nice its not bland and simple, but more intricate designs.. Give it a try. Pamela B. Dewease a change of pace. and it is fun to do. I really am glad I tried it.
