Good hands-on guide You know a lot of these sorts of books are written with the techno-geek in mind and sure I want to learn about all the cool features my new camera has on itbut come ontell me how to use it like a normal human being. This book and this series does just that. The writer does not pretend to cover all the stuff in the Nikon user manual but he does say he wants to give you enough information and learn a few techniques that will get you fr. Told you so said Great book. In contrast to one other d7100 book I purchased, this book is not a dry laundry list of camera features. Rather, the book covers photography concepts and ties them into each camera feature. Many of the concepts are accompanied by photographs the author took himself, followed by detailed explanations of how, when and why each photo was taken. I also the like the writing style: easy to read, egoless, straight and to the point.This book.
