Others were specially adapted from professional routines and are here presented for the first time for amateurs. Author Karl Fulves is one of the best-known writers and editors in the field of magic.. Advanced and professional magicians will find tricks to add to their acts or informal routines. Some also adapt to stage presentation.Individual tricks in this book have sold for more than the price of the entire book. Almost all of these tricks can be worked informally, with a borrowed deck of cards. Amateurs can use them to get a start in magi
"The card magicians library starts here!" according to Johnnyuma. Having both performed and taught card magic, this book is a must! For the beginner, this is a no nonsense teaching aid that any serious student will use. Later, as the magician learns advanced techniques, one can revisit these effects and make them seem impossible. This is the 1st book that I recommend to all serious budding card magicians. If you only learn a couple of tricks, this inexpensive book will be well worth its cost. Highly recommended!J.. Well worth the money So far seems well written and fairly easy to follow. I got the ebook version on my kindle and it works great and creates a nice conversation starter when I am waiting for something and working on different card tricks. I would recommend it for beginners, but try to read/skim through it once before you start trying the tricks. Then get good with each trick before you move to the next; which might require a few tries, but you will enjoy it a lot more and find yourself picking up the tricks faster as you move along. I would also recommend doing like I have been doing and keepin. Too complicated Too complicated for a 10 year old child
