In spite of the title (which as you know is just a marketing thing, been around a long time), this book is written for SMART folks who are looking for a complete guide to getting started with drums. Lot of info on different kinds of drums, advice on how to select them, what you need to get started, even if your budget is limited. He walks through eve. Good book Scott good book about drumming, the author covers just about every topic on this instrument.. "Just what a Novice needs." according to G. L. Simms. I was a complete novice when it came to drums and enjoyed the very basic introduction to the instrument.This won't make you an expert, but it's well worth the price.The drumshop in Indianapolis, IN, as far as I can tell, has closed so the next nearest ones are in Chicago,IL and Champaign, Il.
