Jamie Harrison's mystery series was one of the best in contemporary mystery history and in this novel she's moved onto a higher plane of literature, while keeping the suspense of her crime series. Her writing is wonderful. Though the book starts a bit slowly, let her prose roll over you. Soon you will understand the character as the plot builds. Bravo! I am so glad you are back, Jamie!.
