And it was needed in this book.I was drawn into the first chapter and continued to turn the page until I completed the book in one sitting. Well written, with a plot that is full of great action plus characters that start out strong and then improve even more. I love that the leads here are an actual functioning married couple that love each other and happily kick-a** together. Add in a great job of new world-building and the result is a really fun ride that is totally (easily) recommended.DN Leo is a new author for me. Lots of action, suspense, twists, surprises, and supernatural adventures as only they can have. This book, as with the other books, can be read as a stand alone and do not have to be read in order.
