I worried that the last page would just be whatever letters were in the center of her keyboard when her poor forehead came crashing down.Which is merely to say that Ms. Mastromonaco does an excellent job of telling civilians about the stress and adrenaline levels of working in the White House. (At least back when people were keen to do a good job fo. Good advice in an engaging book E. Soublet I highly recommend this book to anyone thinking about getting into politics who wants advice on doing so for the right reasons (I.e. To help make the country a better place, etc). But, more importantly, I highly recommend this book for any young woman who wants advice from an intelligent, outspoken, kind and funny woman who is not afraid to show her emotions or do what is best for herself. The stories about how funny and kind Barack Obama is/was are just an added bonus.. Peg said A Must Read. This is one of the BEST books that I have ever read from a Washington Insider, who actually knew what was going on in her job!!! Loved it, Loved it, Loved it!!!
