"Exceptionally helpful" according to San Rafael, CA. Nothing against acrylic technique books, but this is not another one. Instead, Davies provides the budding or more established artist with thought provoking principles, not rules, about why things might or might not work in a piece. I particularly appreciated the deep dive into how to think about and see your art and that of others in a new and objective light.
