George Hanson said Hokusai Serenity. When I was a lot younger, my mother appreciated Hokusai. I did not then. She borrowed books of his work from the library. I looked at them and thought that they were OK but I was not that excited about them. I did not know, then, the story of his life. I wasn't aware of when he lived or how he produced his art. Since then I have discovered a lot about him. I have also developed a new sense of appreciation for his life and times. I now find great serenity in his work and I marvel at his skill. I have sought the titles of the books that my mother borrowed and found some of them. This book is a sampling . Amazon Customer said Five Stars. My very demanding artist friend who got it as a gift says it is superb!. Five Stars Ace11 An absolutely beautiful book.
