I purchased this for the more technical portions of the book, and while still relevant, the content is very dated (published in 2002) in regards to digital formats, and promoting one's self on the internet.The portions of book dedicated to DJ technique were strong, but I felt like alot of the information . Back to the Old School Days! This publication is a bit dated, i.e. back to the early days of DJing with records; but it is history well worth reading, esp. if you have read: Hank Bordowitz "Dirty Little Secrets of the Record Business"! Read Hank's book first then "How to DJ Right" and it will be reading well worth your time! It is full of helpful ideas that will help one move into.
