"Elmore James" according to D. MILLS. While learning to play electric slide guitar, after having found some tabs of Duane Allman I decided it would be better to start off with something easier. Way back in the day, high-testosterone solos were not the thing, and I just wanted to get some riffs to practice on. So I looked into Elmore James. Elmore James is the man that so many people have copied from Hound Dog Taylor, Duane Allman and early Fleetwood Mac to George Thorogood and Lig. Richard K. said Five Stars. Really good music book for the basics to get into Elmore James stuff.. "Good" according to M. Ivey. Wish it had more of the backing (rhythm guitar, etc.) but it's a really good book. Nice intro and song notes.
