Great book, but look for it on ICMA Joe Get this book from the ICMA website (the maker of the book.) They charge $97 new. As the book explains, private companies main goal is to maximize profits. Other than that, the book is great. I ordered this book for a class in Government Finance. Although I have only read 2 chapters, I have found the information extremely insightful. The book's explanations and information assist the reader in understanding the intricacies of revenue and expenditures.. "Great Reading" according to Rock A. Cantu.
