DESCRIPTION:
In this diary-like look at his life since A Work in Progress, Connor talks about his battles with clinical depression, social anxiety, self-love, and acceptance; his desire to maintain an authentic self in a world that values shares and likes over true connections; his struggles with love and loss; and his renewed efforts to be in the moment - with others and himself. Told through short essays, letters to his past and future selves, and poetry, Note to Self is a raw, in-the-moment look at the fascinating interior life of a young creator turning inward in order to move forward.. Now, two years later, Connor is ready to bring to light a side of himself he's rarely shown on or off camera. Exploring his past with humor and astounding insight, Connor reminded his fans of why they first fell in love with him on YouTube - and revealed to newcomers how he relates to his millions of dedicated followers. In his New York Times best-selling memoir, A Work in Progress, Connor Franta shared his journey from small-town Midwestern boy to full-fledged Internet sensation
Raw and Real This book is truly beautiful. I didn't even read the first page of the book and the single sentence before the books starts hit me harder than anything I've read. This book is raw. It's not like someone is trying to sell you their persona; they are being real, raw, and honest about them. Great book to relate to I speed read this book so fast I didn't even took down any progress. This book is so incredible I don't even have words. I cried at some parts of the book because I could relate. I highlighted parts where he gave me tons of advice that I am to make sure to write down to post on my wall.. Beautiful Book, Bad Packaging Connor Franta is a beautiful author and I love watching his YouTube videos. He is a brave soul and has a deep heart and story to share. The packaging for a single book is rather careless. it is literally a cardboard outline surrounding the book with practically no protection to the cove
