This edition fits nicely and the binding protects it from being bent better. but this is an excellent starting it helps tremendously having notes and context side by aide to the text. there's also a lengthy introduction about the story, language and Bard himself.If you're a beginner you will still have to put a lot of effort in, and you will likely need other resources as well, but this is an excellent starting text. Smack, smack, smack ugh! If you are a person, like me, who cannot tolerate the sound of lip smacks and other oral sounds (a genetic condition termed misophonia), this recording can be very irritating. The smooches between Othello and his lady love could drive you crazy. It is rare that this is a problem on audio books, but the sound engineers went way overboard.
