His stories were great for me as a kid and I bought them now for my grandkids. Much of the language and "atmosphere" is out-dated now, but the concepts and fantasy worlds are great.. "I would have enjoyed Pellucidar a bit less" according to EVAN T TUCKER. Pellucidar is a sequel to "At the Earth's Core", so if you don't read that first, it will may be harder to appreciate Pellucidar. As one who did read the first book, I can only imagine that if I had not, I would have enjoyed Pellucidar a bit less. In any case, they are both easy, f. Classic science fiction from a master that I'm finding to be practically timeless making it a fine pick up and I do recommend!
