Gardening with Perennials I gave this book only a three star rating, because the grammer was bad. The subject matter was so lightly covered. I didn't feel a beginning gardener could successfully grow most of these perennials. Also, only one plant, the runner bean is a legume that adds nitrogen to the soil. The others add detrius to the soil that will add humus only.
