DESCRIPTION:
Yet another excellent collection of art from Peter This book is a bit different than Peter's coloring books because it offers a more rich breadth of styles not limited to what can be colored in. I keep this book at work and flip through it when I need to take my mind of things.. "Peter Keeps Drawingand we're all the better for it" according to strugglebuggy. I bought this mainly because I've unexpectedly become a fan of Peter's popular youtube channel, PeterDraws, and wanted to get a better look at some of the doodles I've watched him draw there. As an (often frustrated) illustrator myself, Peter has been a tremendous source of inspiration and has reminded me that allowing yourself to draw without plans or judgment, focusing on one line after another without having to know where a piece is going can yield amazing results.Peter's a quirky character and part of the joy of watching his videos is his stream-of-consciousness narration deliver. Warning! Great Art Inside! Cardinal Computers I love Peter's art style! I am not usually one to buy art books, but I couldn't resist seeing his art up close to study his line work and I always open it up when I need a bit of inspiration. The cover of this book was a different textures than expected. It's not glossy like most graphic covers would be. It's like a matte finish but a very velvety matte which is very pleasing to the touch!
