DESCRIPTION:
From #1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts comes a trilogy about the land we’re drawn to, the family we learn to cherish, and the people we long to love.…With the legends and lore of Ireland running through his blood, falconer Connor O’Dwyer is proud to call County Mayo home. But soon, Connor will see the full force and fury of what runs in his blood. It’s where his sister, Branna, lives and works, where his cousin, Iona, has found true love, and where his childhood friends form a circle that can’t be broken…A circle that is about to be stretched out of shape—by a long-awaited kiss.Meara Quinn is Branna’s best friend, a sister in all but blood. Frustratingly, Meara is okay with just the heat, afraid to lose herself—and their friendship—to something more. Her and Connor’s paths cross almost daily, as Connor takes tourists on hawk walks and Meara guides them on horseback across the lush countryside. And he will need his family and friends around him when his past rolls in like the fog, threatening an end to all he loves.…. She has the eyes of a gypsy and the body of a goddess…things Connor has always taken for granted—until his brush with death propels them into a quick, hot tangle.Plenty of
"Spell Binding!!" according to Pink Angel. I don’t consider “Shadow Spell” so much of a ‘romance’ story as an intriguing paranormal story. There is, however, plenty of romance between Connor and Meara to satisfy any romance reader. In this second book in Nora Robert’s "The Cousins O’Dwyer Trilogy", the story picks up where the first book, “Dark Witch,” left off. Branna, Connor, and Iona are in a battle for their lives against pure evil. They know that . Boo said Wash, Rinse, Repeat.. This series is truly driving me nuts. A bunch of uninteresting attacks (if you could even call them that) from the scary "dark" dude which, in turn, causes all the "light" witches to come together murmuring ridiculous rhymes and promising (once again) they'll protect each other. At least until the next time. Wash, rinse, repeat. And I swear, if I read the words, "We are the three," or "we are six," or "we're a circle," again, I think I'll heave my Kindle across . Connor and Meara Well, I liked this book. ButThe story of the battle between The Three and Cabhan moved forward and I am really looking forward to the conclusion in Blood Magic. Some really interesting stuff happen in this one. However there was really very little romance in this book. Connor is a sweetheart and although Meara has her issues she is a sweet girl too. But it was just kinda like BOOM we are in love now even though we've been friends our whole lives and never recogn

Pursuing a romantic relationship with Meara, however, is a risk. Since Connor, his sister Branna, and their cousin, Iona Sheehan, are the latest group of three to have inherited Sorcha’s powers, they are all number one on Cabhan’s hit list. Not only could Connor lose her friendship; getting closer to Meara could make her an easy target for Cabhan. The two have always enjoyed a terrific working relationship, until an unexpected kiss reveals the true passion they feel for each other. Despite the best efforts of Connor O’Dwyer and his circle of family and friends, the sorcerer will not stop until he has his revenge against the descendants of dark witch Sorcha. Everyone’s safety depends on working together to defeat Cabhan, but much to his surprise, Connor finds himself distracted by Meara
