DESCRIPTION:
Kitkat Kid said this book is so useful! I used to sometimes struggle with getting down. For someone who has been mostly self taught, this book is so useful! I used to sometimes struggle with getting down basic figures of people, but this book made it easier to draw people. It's looser than other guidelines I've read that make you draw so tightly, with all the boxes and various other shapes. Not to say that approach doesn't have its merits, but in Sketching People, it has you d. simple & helpful I'm in a field with a lot of linear thinkers, so I found myself doodling to let off steam and keep in touch with my creative, out-of-the-box self. I got sick of drawing pathetic little flowers and wanted a little coaching on drawing people. This book offers step by step guidance, and I can keep it with me on my i-Phone. Fabulous!. "Good and confidence-building guide" according to Aaman Lamba. This book is a good guide to learn various facets of portrait and figure drawing. The process is incremental, so you don't feel overwhelmed by the details. I found myself getting better with each step of the journey and feeling a lot more confident about figure drawing
