"Advanced beginner book" according to justheather. Bought this for my son- he's a fairly new trombone player and long time Star Wars fan. The songs weren't easy. He's had to work on them, but the chart at the back of the book has been a huge help. Two thumbs way up.. Great for beginners Editing my review-- While the pieces won't be challenging for an intermediate player, it is still quite fun to play along with, and has cool orchestral (and even choral) backing tracks.It's a little disappointing to see some memorable themes from the classic trilogy are absent in favor of some fairly forgettable prequel pieces. This is personal opinion, though. Surely, Yoda's theme was at least more interesting than Anakin's theme, and March of the Ewoks, The Asteroid Field and the Han & Leia love theme from ESB were much more interesting pieces than some o. ssims said Son excited to see this.. Purchased this book for my son who plays the baritone (as it works the same for the trombone). It was nice, just a bit over his capability to play (as this is his first year). Better suited for a second year player, but will definitely keep for the future.
