PD providers can use classroom snapshots from the Not Like This/Like That to engage teachers in discussion and reflection.. Great read! School Teacher What a fabulous summer read for any teacher. It's one of those books that you can read in no time, but have post-its and highlights galore! So many things for me to think about. Makes me rethink how I teach and where I need to improve. Excellent book to use for a book study for teachers. I will bring it to my principal as a suggestion for PLC time. Dr. Beyranevand is a great writer and a strong advocate for a better math education. Can't wait to see what he comes out with next!. Highly Recommended As a math teacher of five years, I really enjoyed reading this book. Many of the ideas I already use and it was nice to affirm them but I picked up 8-10 new ideas that I will try in the fall. I really liked the ideas around assessment as it really made me think. This is a fun easy read and feel like the author is an excellent teacher.
