Because of this excellent translation, I want to read the entire Mahabharata (the Gita is a part of the Mahabharata, the longest epic poem in existence) and the Upanishads. I appreciate the introductions that Easwaran provides for each chapter as it allows for better understanding of the sometimes vague concepts mentioned in the actual poem. Easwaran does a great job of breaking down the meanings behind certain words and even makes connections that people from the West would be familiar with. If y
