Great Story Phoebem Fast-paced; would enjoy a full-length novel development because the character of Quincy holds potential for more thoughtful mayhem. I like his ability to instantly understand a situation and act accordingly. No wasting of time talking about dilemmas or feelings, and in that way he maintains interest in his character. Comparing Hartness to Laurel K. Hamilton's Anita Blake will find Hamilton's character wanting in that respect. There can be too much character development to the detriment of plot. But, Hartness's writing has a great deal of potential to be more successful than Hamilton. It reminds me of Dean Koontz's "Odd Thomas" series . "good stories" according to Amazon Customer. I've read year one and two. Very entertaining. I am just surprised about some spelling and grammatical mistakes. That's all. Other than that I did enjoy it.. Great series.
