Creepily awesome. I loved every second of it. The first book in the Hidden Sins series, The Devil’s Daughter, was one of my favorite reads of the year. The Hunting Grounds, the second book in the series, just put itself on that list as well. I knew it was going to be good…it’s suspense, a little romance and Katee Robert for crying out loud, but I didn’t expect it to get to me the way it did. This book was awesome and creepy from the very beginning. Thinking about a human being who literally hunts other humans gives me the willies, but in . This was an engaging suspense that kept me riveted till the end Glacier National Park has always had animal predators living in its forest but now it has a human one. A particularly cunning one with a gruesome MO for their killsMaggie Gaines is the park ranger called to the scene of a murdered woman strung up in the forest of the park. The gruesomeness of the scene is not something she'd ever thought she'd see as park ranger. Eight years ago she walked away from her job with the FBI BSU unit due to not being able to handle the things she saw on the job and here she is again starin.
