DESCRIPTION:

Never had there been as close a bonding as the one that existed between the daring and adventurous young Lord Jaxom and his extraordinary white dragon, Ruth. Their illicit flights seemed but a minor disobedience - until they found themselves in the path of danger and in a position to prevent the biggest disaster of all.. Disobeying all rules, Jaxom and Ruth trained in secret. But Jaxom knew better, knew he could teach his dragon to fly and to destroy the deadly silver Threads that fell from the sky. From the Publisher There are dragons all over Anne McCaffrey's house. She made us dinner that night, too--the one and only time in my life that I've actually liked shrimp cocktail. Maybe that's because if you squint your eyes and look sideways, shrimp are kind of dragonlike, and I was eating them in the right company!                        --Shelly Shapiro, Executive Editor . There were many errors in all three books and it left so many plots unexplained. I ended up buying the full versions of the original books and wish I hadn't wasted my money on this one.. "Errors are Overstated, Still a Great Story" according to Cammie. I'd read these books years ago in the print edition as a teenager and wanted to read them again. I was nervous about buying the Kindle edition because other reviews said that they were filled with editorial mistakes that made even understanding the story difficult. Still I was looking for a book to read right at that moment and so I decided to take the risk and buy the Kindle edition.Either this book was re-edited or the initial errors were hugely overstated. I kept count and counted three minor errors in each of the first two books and five in the third. None w
