"Be prepared to be patient" according to P V Carter. A quick disclaimer before I start with my review. I love Tad Williams. I think that he's one of the most brilliant writers of our generation. Memory, Sorrow and Thorn and Shadowmarch are two of my very favorite fantasy series. The thoughtful way Tad weaves each storyline together in "Shadowmarch" gives the . Arwe Thereyet said You will not be disappointed. I loved The Witchwood Crown and am not quite patiently anticipating the The Empire of Grass. There was no decline in quality or story from the beauty of Memory, Sorrow and Thorn. I know great things don't happen overnight, and want nothing rushed to the detriment of any paragraph.
