DESCRIPTION:

"AUDIO version review of "Tripwire"" according to M. Ross. or a "World Class Psychopath meets Harry and Sally who Copulate (again and again) After Years of Repressed Incestuous Feelings Towards One Another". Okay - That's a little too long for a book title. But, the point being that "Tripwire" is a short story once if you skip over the cheap 50s style detective novel mix of superfluous gore, blood, and sex. I don't consider this in the same class as Lee Childs' later novels, such as "The Hard Way", "One Shot", or "Personal". This novel's mental level is several IQ points lower than Lee. One thing that sets Tripwire apart from other Reacher novels that I have read is that Child begins to spend a lot more time writing from the perspective of the villain, and really creat

He never expects the reasons to be so personal - and twisted.. But hours after his arrival, the stranger is murdered. Retracing the PI's trail back to New York, Reacher's compelled to find out who was looking for him and why. Reacher's anonymity in Florida is shattered by an investigator who's come looking for him
