There were parts (first third of the book) that had me in tears, that were so intense and focused that I was completely immersed in what was happening. The were also parts that read like they were either ghost written or like the author took a long break from writing, and when he returned to the book he was not focused on what he was writing. The last third of the book was not what I expected, and I felt that it was a poor summation of a truly world class series of books. I do not re.
