DESCRIPTION:

Waterwight? WaterRIGHT! Edward I have read McHargue's other book "Miss?" in the past and when I heard she had a fantasy/YA book out, I couldn't get it on my Kindle fast enough. I think readers of all ages will enjoy the book and the characters who populate the world in Waterwight. There is enough left as a mystery in Book 1, that makes me look forward to Book 2. While there are many characters in the book, they are all easily identifiable and stand out on the own when the author is writing for them. Mine is the character of Orville, and I bet if you give this a try, he will be yours too. While. DBragz said Waterwight is a page turner that I couldn't put down!. I really enjoyed this first book in what promises to be a great series. The characters are endearing and relatable as they take you on an exciting and emotional journey of survival and discovery. I highly recommend this book to anyone between the ages of 10 and 110 who enjoys a good fantasy read. As a retired school administrator, I'm always on the look out for appropriate and new books to pass along to my teacher friends. I I would definitely recommend this book for students in grades 5-8 as either a class read or for a summer reading list. The author includes a. "Love it!!!" according to Nadine. The twists and turns in this phantasmagorical adventure kept me in suspense! Definitely a great read no matter your age! The glossary and questions at the end of the book are great for classroom use. I will recommend this to all my teacher friends. My nieces and nephews are going to love this book. I know I'm already looking forward to the next one!
