Denise A. said Informative. It took a little time to really get into it but I'm glad I read it. There's a lot of good information about the why's of how many of us use food to deal with issues in our lives and end up addicted. Then ways to work through them and where to find help. Now I need to go through the book again and read through all of the things I highlighted while reading.. "Not What I Expected" according to Sabrina Beauchamp. Originally I was excited about reading this book. But between chapters Not What I Expected Originally I was excited about reading this book. But between chapters 3 & 7, it was more about the Author's life experiences. I kept hoping that around the next page, there would be more sage advice. Overall, this book was more like an autobiography. The book had potential, but it just didn't hit the sweet spot for me.. & 7, it was more about the Author's life experiences.
