Five Stars Great book with fantastic pictures and directions. Well worth the price!. Susan Banks said Bill Van Gilder's books and videos are the best. This is a perfect book for potters of all skill levels. It is beautifully illustrated and well written. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in pottery making!. Great how to. Carole I teach pottery. Bill's book is an excellent how-to type book as well as a valuable teaching tool for beginning potters. I'm anxiously awaiting the next volume as well as a DVD set (hint hint) that extend Van Gilder's popular DIY network series on throwing clay. I highly recommend this book for all potters!
