I was so surprised when he asked me out on a date at the end of my first day of filming. . I went for an interview with one of the directors I had worked with in the past, and he cast me in his first movie, A Hard Day’s Night, to play the part of a schoolgirl. A Q&A with Pattie Boyd, Author of Wonderful TonightWhy are you writing the book now? I have been asked for the last 15 years to write a book, and it is only now that I feel the time is right. I was stunned; the intensity, passion and tenderness came across so strongly--I knew, as he said, it was written for me. Tell us about the first time you heard Eric Clapton's "Layla." Eric inv
Pattie Boyd and the famous husbands. janet ledesma I enjoyed reading this because they were THE NEWS when I was in jr high. I was fascinated, as most teens are, of the life of stars and the people that associate with them. This book reminded me of little things that I had read about and forgotten.Pattie Boyd was obviously special to have two musical icons to write songs about her. Enjoyable light reading that carries you through the highs and lows of life with George Harrison and Eric Clapton, and what her life was like afterward.. She says he's "funny" but gives not one example. The revelation that shocked me was finding out Eric's young son, Conner---who . "A sad read" according to The Weekly Spice. I grew up thinking this girl had it made. A model, lovely and married to George Harrison and having songs written about her. Then another famous musician married and more love songs. Apparently being in her shoes didn't sound like any place I would want to be. She grew up without her mum most of the time being left with her grandparents in Africa until she was about 9 and then back to England with her mum and mean stepfather so I think maybe she felt anyone who wanted her at all she would jump at the chance no matter how badly she was treated. I felt that she let me down because with all the pain both these

Ten days later a smitten George Harrison proposed. “Was that from you?” I said.It was the most passionate letter anyone had ever written me.For the first time Pattie Boyd, former wife of both George Harrison and Eric Clapton, a high-profile model whose face epitomized the swinging London scene of the 1960s, a woman who inspired Harrison’s song “Something” and Clapton’s anthem “Layla,” has decided to write a book that is rich and raw, funny and heartbreaking—and totally honest and open and breathtaking.
