The guild of deacons This is a great book. I think the first one was better but not by much. Plenty of action plenty of pop culture references and plenty of one liners. I recommend this too anyone who likes b movies action books with a little humor thrown in and just a well written sequel. My only problem with it is that it needs more Duncan.. "More fun than riding a feral pig" according to M. Morgan. What a great 2nd book in the series! Having read the first book I wanted this one too and was not dissappointed. The action is fast and continues to build through out the story. Previous characters that I liked are there and new ones are introduced that became instant favorites. I'm eagerly awaiting book three in the series.. of the Fallen builds on the exciting story and amazing characters MacGhil introduces us to in Book 1 Wrath of the Fallen builds on the exciting story and amazing characters MacGhil introduces us to in Book 1: Rise of the Giants. The way MacGhil describes everything that happens is so vivid you feel like you are actually a character caught up in the story! You feel as though you know all the characters personally! I can't wait for the third book in the series!!
