Another disappointment for long-time fans - might be worth reading to discuss with others - ultimately unremarkable L. I absolutely love Chuck Palahniuk, even though in the hype it has become kind of cliche to adore him. My favorite book of his is Rant, which is brilliantly irreverent, creative to the point of madness and hilarity, and really fun to read. I also highly recommend: Haunted, Lullaby, Invisible Monsters, and Survivor if you are . Gender roles, arousal addiction, consumerism, oh my Ben Wand Chuck is my favorite author. For one, because he tackles big ideas that resonate with me, for another, because I enjoy his writing style. He's an author who knowos how to edit and tell a story in few words, which I appreciate (as do many others).Beautiful You is a book about power, how it is wielded in society, how sex plays. Better then expectedawesome really. Abraham Paul Newman Palahniuk has written another outrageous book that is wonderfully convoluted. I loved the scenes of thousands of zombie like woman standing in line to replace there overused sex toys.
