Don't bother with it if you ambitions are limited to building stuff from plans bought off the web or out of a magazine. And its very basic, elementary and introductory. Oh, and it's out of print. But, get past all that and take a look at it. It's assigned in a furniture design course I'm taking in a Fine Woodworking Program and has been very useful.. One of the best books on the subject. This is one of the best books on furniture, as it gives you the dimensions for each piece of furniture that are industry standard.. "This book is the best on the topic for learning the basics of furniture" according to Robert L. Mckee. Don't let the cover fool you. This book is the best on the topic for learning the basics of furniture design.
