Great Little Book for Learning Percussion Notation I had no idea exactly what this book was all about when I bought it; selecting it just based upon the author and publisher.What a great idea: the book lists many typical ways to 'notate' percussion music on a staff and translates it to a more understandable form. (Who knew that the second note of a percussion 'tie' was silent even though . faisal H. said peruse through but I found it not really very useful.. It's interesting to peruse through but I found it not really very useful.. Dodge Drum Chart Larry Burns As a drum teacher/tutor, I found it would be very difficult for a student to understand, or even a teacher to have to teach. I really do not recommend this as a teaching aid.
