My favorite in a long time!!! I adore Green Ember and continually endorse it on social media to anyone who cares, and many who don't! Ember Falls is a beautifully written story about friendship, loyalty, courage, and love. There are also elements of deceit and evil, of course, but the main characters all exemplify character qualities we strive to help our children desire!My one, and only one, criticism is the book ends so abruptly. I have never had a book end so abruptly and without at least some ends tied up. It is not a story unto itself and that is a big bummer! Please don't do. Buy it as a hardcover because it will be read over and over and become a family favorite! Laura L. Hake Book 2 did not disappoint!
