"This Book is Terrible!" according to Diane Eberle. This book is terrible! It gives different definitions for the same term several times in the first few chapters. Why doesn't it just give one coherent, comprehensive definition for each word?!! The concepts are broken up and presented helter-skelter, so reading this book is like working a tedious jigsaw puzzle. First off, there are way too many problems at the end of each chapter that you don't know which to work at. The author omits why accounts for the assets are debits and why the liabilities and stockholder's equity are credits. The stockholder's equity chapter was a little confusing. Accounting is not the most exciting subject but spend time looking at the chapter and do the problems and you'll do okay.
