A wonderful fairy tale like story Peggy B I pre-purchased this book quite awhile back and sort of forgot about it until it appeared (like a gift) on my Kindle a few mornings ago. Well, of course, I started it immediately. Since I had no clue as to what it was about (the pre-buy contained no synopsis) I did. One for the heart Koontz has done it again. A really moving, heartfelt story about the human condition with beautiful imagery and profound statements about "being". I highlighted so many passages in the book, that it looks like a yellow font. A mysterious beginning, wondering just w. Philosophy, Mystery, or Horrror? I purchased an advance copy of Innocence because I understood the novel was based on character development, not Koontz famous skill for invoking terror.
