Great job with Coltrane transcriptions - thanks! Super job on the transcriptions in this, much appreciated. It's very hard to transcribe solos from top players like 'Trane and Bird, this is an outstanding book. For years I'd tried to transcribe "Giant Steps" and never got far with it; the full transcription (plus alternate) is great in this book. As another review me. William Hall said As expected. I checked the first few for accuracy, and as nearly as I can tell, they are accurate. These are advanced solos. They are not for beginners. Useful for advanced players to get even better on their horn.. Dean Book said Next to Charlie Parker's Omni book, there is no better. I first got the Charlie Parker Omni solo books and this was the second one I got for playing. Each player has a different style and harmonic approach to the sax, so playing in their notes or foot steps, help you learn the horn, jazz and improvisation. This has a great selection of tunes from Trane. A great book to help
