Book Reviewer said Better than Atkins!. I have been looking to reduce the carbs in my diet, but didn't want to go on the Atkins diet. This book was recommended to me by a friend who has used a lot of the recipes.This is a very comprehensive book. It contains a ton of great recipes, but is more than just a recipe book. The Ketogenic diet is fully explained with all the health benefits. There is also advice on how to cope with the transition from a 'normal' diet to a Ketogenic one. There is an FAQ section which answers all the questions you could possibly have about this type of diet. Mistakes to avoid is a great section to read before starting.The recipes are divided into breakfast. "Tequila Chicken" according to J. Schwarz. I've been reading a lot of different Ketogenic Diet Cookbooks, but Kevin Hughes is by far my favorite. The recipes are very creative and the directions clear and super easy to follow. I enjoy the macros at the end of the recipes, so I know what nutritional value I give my body. The Tequila Chicken has been my favorite so far, but I can't wait to give all the recipes a try and change it up in 2017. Rachael Thompson said Perfect resource for those on the keto diet!. I found it very interesting that the diet originated for neurological disease. The recipes really vary and the majority look really good. They include nutritional info (calorie, protein, carbs) which I appreciated.
