The point being, Miss Hartley knows her monsters and has known them, at least within the realm of White Wolf gaming and fiction, for quite a while. This collection of stories, all of them quite brilliant, contain monsters of all sorts and not one of them depends upon the reader being a gaming enthusiast. This collection is all ab. I appreciate the fact that the author did not have to add extra blood and gore in an attempt to make the tales 'horrific.' Each offering in this anthology is unique and each offers it's own 'creepy' feeling. There are monsters of all types. From those old standbys; ghosts, aliens and werewolves to those monsters who dwell within the human soul. In 'Monsters I Have Known' I have my personal favorites, but I will not spoil this read for you by going into detail. I recommend
